Explore Bristol’s footfall and spending trends with data available to businesses

Gain insight into the footfall and spending habits of Bristol visitors.

19/07/2024

We’ve made it easier than ever for our businesses to gain insight into footfall and spending trends across key areas of the city centre. With our new Footfall and insights page, you can now gain immediate access to trends, statistics and detailed information around the spending habits of an array of demographics in Bristol’s key shopping areas.

Park Street

Our
Park Street footfall page offers weekly insights into the fluctuations of footfall on one of Bristol’s most popular shopping streets. Statistics are available on footfall traffic trends with an easy-to-read section on the comparison between the last four weeks, the last month and the last year.

Victoria Street

Our
Victoria Street footfall page offers similar insights, highlighting trends across weeks, months and years so that you as a business can gain a deeper understanding of when peak footfall times are across our commercial district.

REPORTS AND INSIGHTS

On our Footfall & insights resources page, you can now view two types of reports to further your understanding of who is visiting your business and when.

Our Monthly visitor insights reports break down visitors to the area by demographic, so you can gain insight into their visitors by age, gender, nationality and see how long each is spending in your venue.

Our Quarterly spend insights reports take this one step further, highlighting the VISA spend across a three-month period, identifying spending trends and spikes and showcasing spending behaviours across three postcodes in Bristol city centre. You can also see spend per category, to see how your business-type is faring against others each Quarter.
