BCRP Awareness Week schedule…
Monday 17th March | Youth Services in Bristol City Centre Awareness Day – an online campaign highlighting the various services available to young people, expect information about vulnerable children and exploitation, knife crime, reporting and more. Keep an eye on our socials for more information.
Monday 17th (10am-2pm) | Walk and Talk: Bristol BCRP Manager Carmen Ceesay and Sergeant Sean Underwood will be visiting and speaking to businesses along the following route: Clifton Triangle, Park St, St Augustine Parade, Broad Quay, Harbourside, Pero’s Bridge, Narrow Quay, Queen’s Square, Welsh Back, Baldwin St, Corn St, Victoria St, Counterslip, Finzels Reach, Avon St, New Kingsley Rd, Unity St, Old Market. Please get in touch if you’d like to request a specific drop-in.
Tuesday 18th (afternoon) | The BCRP and BIDs will be represented at GWR’s Better Together event at Bristol Parkway Station, covering teamwork in safeguarding and success in partnerships.
Wednesday 19th (8am-2pm) | Smaller-scale version of the previously successful SaBA (Safer Business Action) event in Broadmead.
Thursday 20th (1-3pm) | The inaugural Annual General Meeting of the Bristol BCRP Advisory Board – if you would like to be involved in the board, please contact Carmen.
Friday 21st (12-2pm) | ‘Coffee with a Cop’ at Hatter House Cafe, Broadmead – a drop-in opportunity for businesses and the community to raise concerns with Broadmead PCSO Paul Caines in a relaxed environment. No need to book, simply turn up.
Friday 21st (7pm-9pm) | Night-time economy walk-around in collaboration with the Neighbourhood Beat Team for the area, led by Neighbourhood Sergeant Michael Friis. Visiting various businesses, discussing issues around anti-spiking and raising awareness of the BCRP and its benefits. Please get in touch if you’d like to request a specific drop-in.
