Single-use plastics ban

From 1 October 2023 businesses must no longer supply, sell or offer certain single-use plastic items in England. You can prepare your business for the new rules by:

  • using up existing stock before 1 October
  • finding re-usable alternatives to single-use items
  • using different materials for single-use items

Business rates revaluation 2023

You can now see the future rateable value for your business property. The Valuation Office Agency (VOA) has updated the rateable values of all business, and other non-domestic, property in England and Wales.

These future rateable values will take effect from 1 April 2023.
