Join ‘site-specific theatre masters’ (Bristol 24/7) Insane Root as they partner with English Heritage to explore one of Shakespeare’s most epic plays in the stunning surroundings of Temple Church, Bristol.
In preparation for next summer’s 2025 run of Henry V in Temple Church, sponsored by Redcliffe & Temple BID, Insane Root will be running free to enter open rehearsal sessions over two days where you are invited to drop in. Help them interrogate the play and answer crucial questions around staging.
You will have the opportunity to:
- Take part in creating a battle scene
- Access free guided tours about the history of the church
- Watch selected extracts from Henry V performed up close
- Discuss and voice your opinions on theatre and what it means to you
- Enjoy the beautiful surroundings of the Temple Church
