The festival features dozens of Christmas trees designed by local people, schools, businesses, charities, community groups and other organisations – all displayed in the atmospheric gothic surrounds of St Mary Redcliffe. There will also be live musical performances throughout Treefest and a festive market, run by Better Events and featuring products made by local artists and makers, in the Undercroft located beneath our main entrance.

This year’s charity is The Nelson Trust.

The Nelson Trust is a charity that brings belief, hope and long-term recovery to people experiencing addition and multiple-disadvantage. Their Bristol Women’s Centre is a one-stop-shop service from which they support some of the most disadvantaged, marginalised and stigmatised women in our community. At Bristol Women’s Centre, women they work with can access practical and emotional support addressing a range of needs including; trauma, abuse, exploitation, criminal justice involvement, physical health difficulties, unemployment, homelessness, poverty, substance misuse and mental illness.
