Bristol City Centre and Redcliffe & Temple BID proudly partnered with this year’s Bristol Technology Festival, which concluded with record engagement and a showcase of the city’s thriving tech landscape. As the UK’s largest regional tech festival, the event saw over 46 diverse partner events and welcomed more than 4,000 attendees, demonstrating Bristol’s reputation as a major innovation hub.

This year’s festival, organised by techSPARK, brought together leaders from across sectors, with standout events like CyberCon drawing over 200 companies and 6,000+ digital impressions. Attendees included industry professionals, innovators and business leaders, all eager to explore the latest trends and opportunities in technology.

Vicky Lee, Director of Bristol City Centre BID, said:

“Partnering with the Bristol Technology Festival aligns with our mission to drive footfall and promote the city as a forward-thinking destination. The festival has been a platform for collaboration, new ideas and showcasing Bristol’s immense potential in the tech sector.”

Bristol City Centre and Redcliffe & Temple BID’s support contributed to the expansion of key events, increased marketing reach and greater visibility for city businesses. Notably, the festival’s impact extended beyond the tech community, with events focusing on inclusivity, business growth and sustainability.

Steve Bluff, Head of Redcliffe & Temple BID, said:

"Being a partner in the Bristol Technology Festival allows us to actively support Bristol's vibrant tech community and connect businesses in new and meaningful ways. The festival’s record-breaking success highlights Bristol’s growth as a leading tech hub and we’re thrilled to contribute to the city’s reputation as a place for innovation, collaboration and opportunity."

From the flagship CyberCon to discussions on tech for social impact, the festival engaged over 781,000 people online and generated significant exposure through billboard campaigns, print and digital media. The BIDs’ sponsorship was instrumental in creating a connected, engaging experience for businesses and visitors alike.

With this year’s edition reinforcing Bristol’s place on the national tech map, the Bristol BIDs are committed to continuing their support for initiatives that drive growth, investment and community engagement across the city.
