Cycle September is here, promoting the brilliance of biking whilst having fun with your friends, family, and co-workers, and winning amazing prizes! Cycle September is a fun, free challenge encouraging everyone to hop on their bike and ride this September.

With businesses and individuals prioritising sustainability, cost-saving, health and wellbeing, now is the perfect time to get cycling

Taking part in Cycle September is easy. You can ride wherever and whenever you like throughout the month, whether it’s an individual cycle or as part of a group. It’s not about the miles you ride, but about taking part, having fun and encouraging others to ride too. All you need to do is log your September bike rides to take part in the challenge using the Love to Ride app or connecting your Strava or Map My Ride account.

If you are new to riding a bike, or it’s been a while, there’s plenty of help on Love to Ride. From tips to Quick Courses, you can up-skill and get back on a bike with confidence. Cycle September could be a great opportunity to learn to ride, try a bike commute for the first time, or switch cars for handlebars more often.

This year, Redcliffe & Temple BID businesses can win one of four £50 Love Bristol Gift Cards which can be spent in over 170 city centre outlets.

All you have to do is log your ride during Cycle September to be entered into the prize draw. This prize has been sponsored by Redcliffe & Temple BID and therefore only riders who work in Redcliffe and Temple will be included in the prize draw. Winners will be announced on 16 October. Happy cycling!

Last year 48,678 riders and 8,365 businesses took part with 8.6 million miles logged and a whopping 270,969 kg of CO2 saved from entering the atmosphere!

Cycle September is free for individuals and businesses and it’s a great way to get outside, keep fit, save money, protect the planet, and win prizes.
