Supporting local projects to help build a safe and caring community

Project Type
BUILDING A SAFE & CARING COMMUNITY
Date
2024

In 2024, we launched our Safe and Caring Community Fund to support local projects and initiatives in the area that align with our theme to build a safe and caring community.

Redcliffe & Temple BID strive to improve the BID area for all, where our current community projects help to increase safety, improve wellbeing, and support those in need. We aim to improve the local area for our business community, local residents, and visitors to ensure that Redcliffe and Temple is a safe space where everyone can thrive.

The initiatives we are supporting through this fund extend our vision of safety and care into the wider community. To date, we have provided grants to support the work of The Beauty of Caring, Bristol Chaplaincy, and Bristol & Weston Hospitals Charity, whose projects provide a service of care to the community and help to boost wellbeing.

Alongside our aims for a safe and caring community, we are committed to promoting diversity and equality, supporting the local economy, and promoting sustainability and responsible procurement. As such, we have prioritised applications from organisations that demonstrate similar values.

We encourage businesses to share the initiatives we support with their relevant contacts to help spread the word within the local community.
